The content in this portion of the website pertains to "software" known as "Might and Magic", which was the trademark and/or registered trademark of The 3DO Company, and is more recently owned by Ubisoft. Dragon Magic has been significantly changed. Some of the characters will play much differently than stock Breath of Fire 2, making your strategies different. If MOK has a problem with this, by all means let me know and I'll remove it. Starting stats, and level up progressions for all characters, including Bleu have been meticulously reworked. I claim no rights whatsoever to this file and it is offered here simply for convenience. Thank you MOK for your excellent work on this. I have no idea if it is necessary for Vista/7. It makes the game more compatible with Windows XP.

I got the mouse-look mod for each of them. When I have some more time I'd really love to go through at least 6-8 again. I made my main character a minotaur of course. I did start up 8 and played a couple hours of it though and the nostalgia hit right away. I got busy with Legends Arceus and some other stuff. I jumped at the chance but haven't really got around to playing them yet.
I did see on GOG a couple months ago, that you could get the whole series on sale for around $10.
I've not played these games since the early 2000s, I no longer have access to the discs. I think I always stuck with the party members you get at the starting island and then added a dragon when I found one. The visual of the giant pink crystal tower in the center of town is an image burned into my brain. I don't remember why, but for some reason, I was really into minotaurs as a kid and it blew my mind that I could play as one. I didn't own a console until the Gamecube, but my dad a lot of crpgs and similar games, and after bugging him a bit about he let me play MM6. It was that and Pac-Land which the local laundry mat had the arcade machine for. Might & Magic 6 was the first video game I ever played.
